GENERAL INFORMATION:

• Ex product requires METI certificate or other cb’s based on IECEx certifications
• IECEx certificate needs to consider Japanese deviation declared by TIIS
• Certificates issued per model 
• Certificate has ​3-year validity

INITIAL FACTORY INSPECTION / SAMPLES:

• No factory audit is required
• With IECEx with Japanese deviation, no sample is needed

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Manual in Japanese
• Drawings and technical documents
• Specific model need to be listed in the TIIS certificate instead of model nomenclature, like x, y in the model name
• ​Ensure compliance with other applicable regulations i.e. VCCI, PSE and MIC etc.
