The national certification body for BSMI certification is the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection.
There are three types of certifications under BSMI: RPC (Registration product certification)，TA (Type approval), and DoC (Declaration of Conformity).

IEC CB certificate/report:  Acceptable
IEC62368 is not yet acceptable in Taiwan

Factory inspection: No

Local representative: Yes

Certificate validity: 3 years

Sample requirement: Yes

Critical component requirements: IEC or BSMI approved

Document checklist: Manual in traditional Chinese, technical drawings, product specification and others
